Outside Bets
Red or black comes with a payout ratio of 1 to 1. This requires you to bet that the ball will rest on either black or white after spinning. You will be paid an amount equal to your bet plus your bet if you win.
High or low requires that you bet on whether the ball will rest on any number between 1-18 (low) or 19-36
(high). This offers a payout ratio of 1 to 1.
Odd or even means you bet that the ball will rest on either an even or odd number and this offers a payout ratio of 1 to 1.
Betting on dozens require that you bet on one of three dozens i.e. 1-12, 13-24, and 25-36 and this carries a payout ratio of 2 to 1.
Columns also come with a payout ratio equal to dozens offers three options to bet on i.e. 1st column, 2nd
column, and 3rd column.
Inside Bets
Single number bet means you put your chip on a single number and this gives you the probability of winning a payout ratio of 35 to 1.
Split bet implies you bet that the ball will rest on either one number or another. This promises a payout ratio of 17 to 1.
Street bet permits you to bet three numbers that fall in a row and you need place your chip at the end of the row you want. The payout ratio is 11 to 1.
Corner bet permits you to bet on four numbers which are clustered and offer you a possible payout ratio of 8 to 1.
Line bet covers six numbers in a line and offers you the possibility of winning a payout ratio of 6 to 1.
Betting on the Wheel
Number adjacent to any winning numbers is called a neighbor in roulette. You can bet on neighbors meaning that if the ball rests on any numbers neighboring your betted number then you win.
There is also the French and Neighbor bet which require you bet on either two sides of the wheel. This is largely common among the French.
Game roulette can be exciting if only you make appropriate choices on your bets. Bets that are comparatively easy to win pay lower ratios while those difficult to win pay higher ratios.
It may be better to choose a bet with a lower payout ratio but with greater chance of winning. |
